The Ponoka Drop-In Centre

Our centre provides recreational and social activities for seniors in Ponoka and area. The facility opened in 1986, and underwent a significant upgrade and renovation in 2012. All of our activities are overseen by volunteers. The overall operation of the centre is governed by a dedicated group of board members.

 

New members are welcomed!

 

Rooms within the facility:

  • Auditorium – seating tables and space for approximately 100 persons
  • Kitchen – adjacent to the auditorium
  • Card Room – tables and seating for approximately 50 persons
  • Billiard/Pool Room
  • Art Room
  • Craft Room
  • TV and Computer Lounge

Announcements

 The Drop In Centre Board met in Monday, March  14 and it was unanimously decided that as of today, the Drop In Centre will no longer be checking for proof of vaccination and will move to being a mask optoinal facilty.   Mask wearing is strongly encouraged but we ask people to assess their own comfort level.

 

The Ponoka Drop-In Centre invites you to a free pancake breakfast to celebrate Seniors Week.  Join us June 10 at our facility at 5015 46 Ave. between 9:00am to 11:00am.
